I do a little of everything. I'm a software developer with a focus on simulation and game devlopment in Unity. I also have a strong passion for teaching and, while I don't teach full time at the moment, I still volunteer when possible to help nurture the next generation of devs.
I've worked as the primary Software Engineer at Cinilope for two years as a Freelance Developer on a contract basis. I focused on the design and development of simulations involving drones and other UAVs in Augmented and Virtual Reality.
I also developed and maintained applications for Android and Windows Hololens using the Unity Engine.
Codecrew was my first job in tech both during and after college. While there I worked as a Teaching Assistant, Assistant Instructor, Instructor, and finally as a Lead Instructor teaching K-12 as well as adult courses. I developed curriculum and taught CS courses ranging from summer game design classes using Unity to in school computer science classes covering the basics of programming. As a lead instructor I worked with the Codecrew CodeSchool, a coding bootcamp for adults, and taught/developed Front End Web Development curriculum. I am no longer employed by Codecrew but still volunteer for them from time to time.
At i3 I worked as a Junior Unity Dev and focused on training and simulation software for military personnel. I developed content with my team and worked under my SCRUM master to produce produciton level, high quality content.
Mid-Level developer supporting Electromagnetic Field Sensing research at the Army Research Laboratory. My experience includes developing and optimizing software in Python, MATLAB, Java, and C++, managing Linux-based systems, and processing sensor data. I focused on creating predictive models, automating workflows, integrating APIs, and enhancing embedded systems for both research and defense applications.
